Lake Mills
"Small town with great outdoor activites with good access to metro areas."
Located on beautiful Rock Lake along I-94 between Milwaukee and Madison. This is a great neighborhood community with many recreational activities.
Rock Lake is known for its mysterious submurged pyramid. In the summer the lake is full of fishing boats, swimmers, water skiers, and wind surfers. In winter it is covered with ice shanties and snowmobiles. Sandy and Bartel's Beach are welcoming on the hot summer days.
Korth park overlooks the lake located on the west side. Aztalan State Park is located along the Crawfish River about 3 miles east. Both have a beautiful prairie setting with a picnic areas and hiking trails.
The 50 mile Glacial Drumlin State Trail passes around Rock Lake and through Lake Mills in its scenic beauty. Hiking and jogging are free and an annual or day passes for biking are required.
