"Long Time Resident"
Twinsburg is located about 20 miles southeast of Cleveland, Ohio and about 20 miles northeast of Akron, Ohio. Twinsburg is very centrally located between two big cities with lots to do. I have live in Twinsburg for 27 years and just recently moved because of my husbands job.
Twinsburg has a wonderful school system with a new high school that was built and opened in 1999 that is a state of the art school with the top of the line computer equipment with about 4,000 students.
Twinsburg is also the home of the worlds largest twins gathering in the world and is in the Guinness Book of World Record for it. The Twins Days Festival started in 1974 and is every summer on the first weekend of August. The festival has had over 2,000 sets of twins in attendance over the course of the weekend.
Twinsburg is not to good with the night life but has some good eats with Blue Canyon Resturaunt and Beef O' Brady's. I highly reccommend Blue Canyon, very tasty.
Twinsburg is also the home town of Dan Miller of O'Town and James Posey of the Boston Celtic.
Twinsburg is a small town but if you come to visit the first weekend of August you will not be disappointed.
