"A world of culture and art - in the northeast corner of Downtown Dallas"

Experience world-class art and classical music in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Completed in September of 1989, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center is the heart and soul of the Dallas Arts District. Designed by Pritzger Prize Award-winning architect I. M. Pei, it is home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, as well as other acclaimed Dallas area groups such as the Turtle Creek Chorale, and the Dallas Wind Symphony. There are programs all year-round that will please the most sophisticated lover of the classics as well as events for the entire family.

Some of the other top attractions include the Winspear Opera House, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, and the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts, a magnet school that has turned out world-class musical talent such as Nora Jones and Roy Hargrove. You can catch a bus to the concert with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) to avoid the traffic and have a delicious dinner before the show at one of several of the area's highly acclaimed restaurants such as the Nasher Cafe by renown chef Wolfgang Puck or the Fedora.

The Dallas Arts District is simply the best in entertainment in the entire region and a great time for the entire family.
