"Don't miss Hebert's Market"
Located in West Houston, Briarforest is nestled between 59-The Southwest Freeway and Interstate 10. Conveniently located next to the Westpark Tollway, this area provides easy access to most areas of Houston. Main roads found in this area are Wilcrest, Kirkwood, and Dairy Ashford. This is a more established area of West Houston, while the outskirts of Westchase are growing at a rapid pace. There are many strip centers around this area, as well as some older residential subdivisions. Apartment homes are plentiful in this tree lined plush area. There is ample shopping, dining, and entertainment, and access to more variety is just a nearby freeway away.
Briarforest is very close to the Energy Corridor, which is home to the majority of the Oil Companies in Houston and many jobs. Newly created parks, hike and bike trails, and dog parks will consume your time if enjoy outdoor activities. There are a variety of chain restaurants and shopping centers to choose from in this area. If you’re new to the area and have a taste for authentic Cajun cuisine, you won’t want to pass up Hebert’s (pronounced A-Bear’s) Market on Dairy Ashford.
