Burlingame

Burlingame is the epitome of a Hansel and Gretel type neighborhood. When non-locals are taking a stroll through this picturesque area, they encounter finely made crafted homes that resemble those dwellings in fairy tales. Without sounding overly cheesy the houses in this neighborhood are very cute and were crafted with much detail. It is nice to see a neighborhood that does not have the typical styled bungalow houses. There is also a great deal of Mexican cafe’s which have some of the most amazing food like Sombrero Mexican Food, which has come up with their own themed style pizza that is loaded with cheese and red peppers. Delicious! You can also find sidewalks in this area in the color of pink. These colored sidewalks can be a shock when you first see them, but eventually you will come to appreciate the uniqueness of this area. This is certainly one of the more charming and well thought out neighborhoods in the San Diego area.
