Work in Eastlake, where to live with kids?

We are moving with out 2 year old to Seattle and would like to get some tips on suitable neighborhoods to start our house search. We are both professionals in our late 30s/early 40s and would prefer not to spend more than 30 min commuting to work (car or public). We have will have our daughter in daycare and school soon so that is an important decision point as well. I hope this has enough information to spur some helpful ideas. Thanks a lot!
