Would you recommend the SoHo neighborhood in New York City for singles?

I, personally, don't like Soho for its scene specifically because it is very "sceney." The bars in Soho are all pretty loud and people go there just to be looked at, in my opinion. But, a lot of people like it (particularly Europeans) so it kind of depends on what you're into. Weirdly, also, there aren't a ton of bars in Soho. But, it's a very central neighborhood, so you're insanely close to a million bars if you live in Soho.
