Solon

Solon, Ohio is located about 18 mile south east of Cleveland and was ranked the 42nd bets place to live in 2005 by Money magazine. I had worked in Solon for 5 years and loved the city. The schools are great and was ranked as on of the top 75 schools in 2001 by Newsweek magazine and is still up and coming. There is lots of shopping with two of my favorite store being the Talbots Outlet for you ladies and the Mustard Seed Market. The Mustard Seed is a great place to shop and eat with their organic and vegitarian selections and the have a wonderful cafe upstairs that has all you can eat crab legs on Friday nights. You must also try the Carrot cake, the best. I bought that as my wedding cake from them. Solon is also looking to build some new shopping in the area will make the city bigger and better. Solon has also produced some great people such as Kim Herring, Former NFL safety, Cincinnati Bengals and Drew Carter NFL wide receiver, Oakland Raiders. Both where members of the Solon Comets foot ball club. If you want to see some good High School football come to Solon for one of their home games it is a sight to see. The people of Solon love their football.
