Stanford is a good place for families. Alright for retirees. No good at all for singles.
This town is dominated by families (60% of households to be exact), and a lot of them are doing quite well for themselves. The typical Stanford resident is maybe a little older and has made their money, owing that to past experiences with the town. With the population being a little older, retirees can fit in here but those on fixed incomes might have trouble as property taxes can be quite high compared to the rest of the state. Stanford isn't a great place for singles because there aren't a ton of them here anyway (low-population town, family-dominated) and there aren't even many places for singles to congregate in public.
