Station Dr Northwest
"SUPER Family Neighborhood that Backs Up to Elementary School - Walking Distance to Middle School"
Station Drive is off of North Booth and adjacent to Bells Ferry. One of Kennesaw's best kept secrets, this neighborhood has the best of all worlds. It is peaceful, with large lots and contemporary homes. In addition, the landscape features gentle inclines so that walking the neighborhood is appealing. No huge hills to wreck your knees or obstruct the view when you are bicycling.
Station Drive winds around dead ends, so through-traffic is almost non-existent, making it a great place for kids to play. In the evening, boys often play football at the end of the road. You will see families walking dogs and riding bikes. The neighborhood has a cut-through to the elementary school, and children there still walk to school each day. The middle school is 1/4 mile down the road, and bus service stops at end of each street.
The only draw back is that residents hear the fire station alarms because the station is located across from the sub division on Bells Ferry. But most of the residents feel grateful to have emergency services nearby, and the alarms don't go off that often.
My friend has lived on Station Drive for 20 years. The neighbors are friendly without being nosy-- you can always find a helping hand, but you won't have neighbors budding into your business. That's what makes Station Drive a great place to visit and live.
