Is it possible to buy a descent home in Steamboat and pay $1200/month for mortgage?

I heard Steamboat was an amazing place to live if you can find work...

It's possible, but cheap homes in Steamboat are few and far between. If you're looking for a small home or a small condo, it is easier to find affordable properties.
