Sutton Place is one of the most, if not the most, expensive neighborhoods in New York City. It's beautiful and the homes are out of this world. It's safe but very uppity. There isn't much to do in the way of bars or restaurants (in fact, there aren't really any); and public transportation in this area is pretty much non existent -- but, if you can afford to live here, you probably don't take the train anyway. It's very quiet and there's a ton of green. But, it's definitely an older, incredibly wealthy demographic.
