Are there any reasonable rentals (less than 2200/mo) or homes priced around 350k in this area?

I may be moving to this area in August and I think I should rent at first... however, I would be willing to purchase a home if there are options in the mid 350k range? I am moving from Ann Arbor where there are some cool neighborhoods priced in that level. If this is not possible in Takoma Park- what other hip location should I check out? Thank you!
