There is a ton to do in Telluride in the winter, such as: downhill, nordic, and helicopter skiing, glider rides, horseback and sleigh rides, ice climbing, ice skating, dog sledding, photography tours, winter fly fishing, and backcountry huts. There are five huts spread out over the Telluride, Ouray, and Ridgway area and advanced skiers can make reservations and travel from hut to hut. The huts come with bunk beds, cooking stoves, lamps (propane), kitchen gear, and firewood for the wood stove. It's kind of a winter wonderland for snow lovers!
