"Nice place to raise a family"
Terrace Avenue is a very quiet pretty street. It is close to transportation, schools, shopping and dining. A great local restaurant is located on Huegunot Ave. is called Ciros pizza cafe. They are a little pricey but the food is great. The local park, Bloomindale Park, is great for walking, bike riding, jogging... there is a very nice clean playground for kids to play on. There is many churches and placed of worship. Lots of local pizza shops (Il Forno) and chinese take out (off of Seguine Ave).
The Staten Island Mall is a great place to shop because there is a store in there for everybody. Macy's, JC Penny, Sears are the 3 big department stores and there are hundreds of smaller shops.
Terrace Avenue has lots of trees and sometimes the mosquitoes can be a but much and bite you like crazy. Just spray OFF! and you should be fine. Also on my property there is a ton of spiders, but, thats ok they eat the mosquitoes!
All in all Terrace Avenue is a great street with lots of local businesses to go to.
