Arlene Drive is located in a tourist area that is well known for camping and outdoor recreation fun on the outskirts of Houston. It is only minutes away from Highway 105, and though not heavily populated, draws a large crowd of Houston Residents, and Texans on the weekend, and during the summer months. August is it's busiest time, drawing people come from miles around to pitch their tents and park campers for either a weekend or several days of camping and relaxing. There are several creeks and rivers that wind and twist throughout the area which attracts swimmers, and canoeing enthusiasts. If you were driving down this road in the pitch black of night on any given weekend, and saw splashes of light illuminating throughout the densely wooded areas, do not be alarmed, it is only one of the many campfires of a group of friends and family having an enjoyable evening surrounding a fire and roasting marshmellows. A great road to visit.
