Would you recommend the Loop neighborhood in Chicago for singles?

Not really. I love the Loop, and a single guy or girl can have a lot of fun there. It's exciting and busy during the day, but it dies down at night, and it gets pretty quiet outside of business hours. As it's essentially the heart of the city there are plenty of transportation options, but I think the cost of living is pretty high, and it's loud in the morning. It is safe though, and has a lot to do during the day.
