Is there much real estate along the river in Tivoli? Is it expensive?

One thing to keep in mind right away is that the Amtrak line is pressed right up against the Hudson River in Tivoli, which is a limiting factor, so right on the river might be a little difficult and/or annoying. NEAR the river, though, there is definitely some real estate, and it can be expensive. Some of the more modest homes are in the $400k range, I see some in the $700-900k range, and finally, there's even a piece of property that I see was sold here recently for almost three million dollars, but it also had nearly 40 acres of land.
