Is Tribeca in New York City a good place to live for families with kids?

It's ok. There are a lot of people with kids in Tribeca, for sure. But, it wouldn't be my first choice. There are some great parts of Tribeca that have massive loft apartments and a lot of trees, but you have to be in the western part of it. The eastern part is too busy and too commercial.
