"The City of Trees"

Located next to Santa Ana, Tustin is a town in the Orange County that was revered as one of the 25 towns in America to live well in the year 2009, according to Forbes. Tustin is also sometimes referred to as the City of the Trees.

Tustin is indeed a great town to live in where commute is rather simple and everything lies within a close proximity. The households in Tustin earn a median annual income of over $55,000. Children can obtain good education through the Tustin Unified School District. The Tustin High School is known for its achievement as being one of California’s Distinguished Schools. This high school is also known for its very strong school program – the Model United Nations program. More than half their students who go on and pursue a university degree pursue one at the University of California, Irvine situated near the City of Tustin.

Although Tustin has become an urbanized town, they still retain a part of their history at the Old Town Tustin that houses ancient buildings that go back to the 1880s. This region is still filled with all the trees, just like it used to be in the past. Also three of the original sycamores still live and flourish in this historic portion of the City of Trees.

Some points of interests in Tustin include the Tustin Historical Walk, Marconi Automotive Museum and the Tustin Museum. You can also find the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin. Shoppers can enjoy a great shopping spree and get everything on their list at the Enderle Center, the Tustin Market Place and the District in Tustin. These shopping regions aim to serve your family’s daily wants and needs. It is also a great experience to shop at these and enjoy a day out to relax or be with your family.

The City of Tustin also has a great branch of the Orange County Public Library. This newly refurbished library is a great galore of books, reading and learning materials for everyone –young and old. They also host many events such as story times, reading sessions and other events that are of interest to kids, youths and adults. The City of Tustin’s Parks and Recreations also host a wide range of classes and courses that enrich everyone in the city – from the toddlers to the seniors. These classes are easily available to everyone and enjoyed by them all.
