Blossom Hill Rd
"Great shopping and restaurants!"
Malls, shops, movie theaters, and every chain restaurant known to man :) A lot of nice neighborhoods around as well so I would recommend for people with kids or pets - not much of a nightlife though.

"Wouldn't recommend it"
I lived in an apartment complex on this street and couldn't wait until the lease was up! While I can say the landscaping was nice and Parkmoor is close to good shopping and restaurants, the area is pretty ghetto and noisy. It runs parallel to a freeway and we had gas siphoned out of one of our cars twice and eventually the gas cap was stolen altogether. Not a great place to have kids or dogs since there is so much traffic around.

"Love it here!"
Briar Ridge Dr. is actually an apartment complex called Avalon at Blossom Hill. I moved there about 2 months ago after living in a somewhat ghetto apartment complex and what a difference! Aside from the pool, fitness complex, and more spacious apartment I love the area around it. Blossom Hill and Santa Theresa provide a ton of shopping, restaurants and access to several freeways. I have 2 dogs and there's plenty of nice places to walk them around. It's definitely harder during rush hour since it's south San Jose (if you're going into downtown San Jose or further north) but it's not enough of a downfall for me not to recommend the area.
