"Neighborhoody, yet near everything you'd need"
37th Avenue near Wilshire Park is a dog owner's dream. Nice neighbors, cute houses, and the park is huge.
It's a short walk from Beaumont Village and the Alberta Arts district.

"I lived there for a great two years"
The neighbors keep to themselves, but everything is relatively quiet for being near a busy street (Burnside). Proximity to 28th street dining can make parking spots hard to come by in the evening. But once you're parked at your own place, there's plenty of great stuff within walking distance. The things I miss the most are Laurelhurst Theater ($3 tickets, plus cheap pizza by the slice and good beer) and Laurelhurst Park.
