"Good deal, very diverse"
Pretty busy place. The homes in this area kinda look the same but are pretty well-kept. I enjoyed taking walks in the area. Everyone's very friendly and there's a lot of cultural and ethnic diversity. There's a big Southeast Asian population and a lot of ethnic markets. Beautiful area and lovely people.

"Busy, friendly street"
Amazing example of the diversity of New York. There is a large South Asian population here, so there's plenty of great Indian and Pakistani food. Bustling with people. Nice apartments, too - you can get a pretty good deal if you look around. It's a great place to raise a family.

Ash Ave
"Big South Asian population"
There's a huge Indian and Pakistani population around here, and you can get Asian foods very cheaply and easily. The markets have some very fresh, nice food, a lot of stuff that you wouldn't get anywhere else. I like the diversity of the area and the culture that comes with having such a big Asian population.

"Nice, diverse area"
It's convenient to the hospital and the park, so it's great if you have to get medical care more than a few times a year. It's a quiet street with some pretty apartments. It's also close to a few good bars. I'd recommend it if you're retired but still active.

Manton St
"Nice for families and couples"
The apartments are generally nice - not spectacular, but nice. The street is pretty clean. It might be a little quiet if you're used to being in the middle of everything, but if you have a family or if you like your privacy, it might be the perfect thing. It's close to a few cheap places to eat.

"Lots of Chinese places"
There are seriously an amazing number of Chinese restaurants along this street. A decent number of bars, too, if you like a nice, quiet evening. The noise on this street is pretty good - I never have trouble getting to sleep at night. Nice neighbors, too - friendly and diverse area.

"Maybe a little too quiet"
Nice, quiet place, but that's about it. There are a few cheap places to eat around, but it's not much to look at. Hard to find places to shop for basic necessities. Kind of dingy. Nice crosswalks, though. Felt fairly safe - at least, I didn't think I was going to be mugged immediately.

"No place to eat!"
The dining options on this street might be good for another town, but not for New York. Okay, so there are cheap places to get a bite. But in terms of quality and selection, nothing. The places around here are kind of dirty, and you don't really get a New York feel.

Lander St
"Nice apartments and residential homes"
The houses on this street were very well-kept. It's an upper-middle-class area with some very pretty homes and some very friendly people. The apartments were also nice, and I felt safe walking around. The cleanliness of this street surprised me - no trash, no bums. In all, very family-friendly and easy on the eyes.

"Lovely area, beautiful apartments"
Beautiful red brick apartments and nice, shade-giving trees. Kind of upscale but not too gentrified. I love walking through this area. I'd recommend it for anyone with a family - it's a nicely-kept place. People are willing to talk to you when you go there. It's safe and friendly.

"Nice, well-kept area"
I've visited my aunt here many times, and it's a nice, safe place. It gets plenty of light during the day and it's a well-kept area. A lot of friendly people and a lot of trees, foliage, etc. Not too much traffic, either, and the drivers go slowly because there are kids in the area.
