"Low income neighborhood near USC"

Raymond Ave., like all of the surrounding streets, is near the University of Southern California campus. However, it is one of the streets just far enough away to not be patrolled regularly by the campus police. It is a very high crime, low income area. When I was a student at USC, I saw several cars that had been recently broken into.

"More cars, less space"

There is always traffic in this are due to the university, but West 37th Drive is one of the worst. It runs directly parallel to Exposition Blvd. and into the USC campus. Students, workers, and visiters use this street to bypass the heavy traffic on the nearby main streets. Parking is usually taken up by students and visitors that don't want to pay to use the university lots.

"The busiest small street in LA"

West 37th Place runs right into the south western portion of the University of Southern California's campus. The traffic is always high with people entering and exiting the school. It runs parallel with Exposition Blvd. and people often use this to get around even worse traffic on the main streets. Large old apartment buildings line 37th Place.

"A very high traffic street near USC"

West 36th Place becomes Downey Way just before you enter the University of Southern California campus. It is an immensely high traffic street with people coming to and leaving the university. The street has large, but old, apartment buildings running along either side. The buildings house mostly students and low income families.

"Very high traffic street near USC"

Downey Way is a small street that runs into the University of Southern California campus. It is a terribly busy street with almost ceaseless traffic. The street is lined with apartment buildings on both sides that house USC students and low income families. There is almost never any aprking on this street for residents. It is usually taken by students.

"Small low income street near USC"

It is very difficult to park on W. 35th Place because it is so close to the University of Southern California campus. Although, I do not recommend parking there anyway. Many of my classmates' cars were broken in to on this street. The apartments are small and many in this low income area.

"Unsafe street near campus"

I attended the University of Southern California. South Budlong Ave. is two blocks west of the campus. A couple of friends lived there. I never felt safe there. On several occasions I heard gunshots. I saw numerous cars that had recently been broken in to. Their apartment was small, old, and not well maintained.

"True inner city."

Not the safest street in the Los Angeles area. West 36th street has very low income apartment buildings lining it. It is near the USC campus. A lot of my friends' cars were broken into while parked on 36th. I avoided this street at all costs. The parking, naturally, is unrestricted, but I wouldn't do it.

"The safest street near USC"

Royal Street in Los Angeles is the safest street in the USC area. There is unrestricted parking, which fills up quickly with students who do not want their cars brokem into. The entire street is lined with apartment buildings, however this street has private security due to its proximity to the Shrine Auditorium.

"Neighborhood Near USC"

The good news about Catalina St. is the unrestricted free parking. The bad news is the high crime rates. I parked my car here when I attended classes at the University of Southern California. I saw dozens of cars brokem into over the years. Fortunately, my car was never one of them.

The residents here most likely have minimum wage jobs. There are mostly large apartment buildings suitable for students and low income families.
