"South Waterfront rocks... but it still needs to grow up a bit"
Don't let the photos fool you- this place is happening. There is a neighborhood here, with lots of fascinating people (and their dogs) here. Retail is starting- we have great sushi, a store, a coffee house and a dog groomer.

"Right off Hawthorne, but without the noise or parking issues"
Great street. Neighbors are nice, there is parking available, close to bus (but not the bus noise), close to Mt. Tabor park. Great food, decent shopping and cool nightlife abound within blocks. Grab a scone on a rainy morning in Common Grounds and you'll see. Hip, wonderful, Hawthorne.

I'm curious, which photos make it look bad? Do you mean the map?
