"Quite Neighborhood Street, Great for Kids and Family"

Fillmore Circle is tucked away in a quite neighborhood developed during the mid-1960s. The street is clean and green with mature trees and homeowners that take pride in their yards.

The local Bon Air schools are considered some of the best in the Richmond area; highly sought after by young families with kids. There are a range of higher end homes scattered among less expensive but well cared for homes.

You'll frequently see a few kids riding their bikes or residents walking and/or jogging through the neighborhood. And if you're into shopping, the Stoney Point Mall is only minutes away.

"Quite Rural Near Major Shopping Center, Designated Bike Route"

Old Washington Hwy is a hidden treasure for those that enjoy a quite Hanover County setting within minutes of major shopping complexes (VA Center Commons and surrounding centers). Access to the interstate is also only minutes away. The street is literally 15 minutes to most popular Richmond destinations: airport, downtown, Innsbrook/Short Pump or historic Ashland (less than 10 minutes).

Major commercial development began on Route 1 (5 minutes away) upon completion of the new Altlee/Elmont interchange (near I-95 & I-295), which was finished a few years back. Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods, Panera, Best Buy, Target and numerous restaurant franchises, if it isn't here yet you'll soon find it on Route 1.

New housing developments are slowing cropping up along Old Washington Hwy and most of the older homes on several acre lots are rising quickly in value - more than holding their own in the real estate downturn given there aren't that many around.

Old Washington Hwy is a designated bicycle route and you'll see dozens of riders any day of the week; hundreds pass by the homes on weekends. Wildlife abounds and you'll see deer, fox and the like often if you are near the Chickahominy River.

On the down side, no public transportation nearby and little with respect to night life other than the Iron Horse and Ashland Coffee & Tea.
