Upon entering the city limits of Fort Meade, one of the first things you notice is Patterson Park. A paved walking trail surrounds the beautiful lake. You may notice many residents walking, biking, or skating.Fort Meade is a small community is Polk County, Florida. It is located in the middle of the state. It is a short drive to Tampa or Orlando. Fort Meade has excellent schools, plenty of parks and recreation, a medical facility, a well stocked library, and excellent city services. The sense of community is unparalleled. It is a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
