"Gentrification long time coming"
Many of us moved here from NYC, because this part of town is known for its diversity.
Been waiting a decade for revitalization and gentrification. City-like vibe, if you've never lived in a big city. No one walks, everyone drives. Pedestrians are toast if they don't
watch their backs while crossing the street. More restaurants than the eye can see.
Many businesses, manly failing, on Bloomfield Avenue stretch. Near Churct Street
shops and more restaurants. Okay schools, easy access to public transportation.
Gross overdevelopment in this part of town, little or no regard paid by mayor and
council members. We'll try to stick it out a few more years here and see how much
Pine Street changes.
