"El Cajon - Not a bad little place"
El Cajon is just outside San Diego, smallish city, 95,000 residents. Summers get hot, although so far this year, I don't think we've had a 100f plus day - YET!
It's right off of Highway 8 so traffic can be a pain if you have to commute. Driving eastbound back to El Cajon at the start of a 3 day weekend/holiday can cause horrendous traffic jams when the 8 converges into 2 lanes and everyone and their dog are travelling out to the desert with their RV's, Dune Buggies, boats etc..
All in all, it's really not a bad place to live.
