"Trains, Gates, And Temples..."
Small little neighborhood in Union City, I lived there for about 10 years and it has changed drastically since my family left. It runs parallel to train tracks and now has a 6 foot fence dividing the street from the tracks. I think this fence takes away for the neighborhood. It is a very church friendly street though with a Buddhist temple and Baptist Church in the opening. It also hosts a trail that runs along the less prevalent neighborhoods in town. I visit that place at least once a month and pray that one day the House will be worth what it once was.

""The Family City""
City with a bad reputation! Very quiet neighborhoods and old fashioned lifestyles! enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of ma&pa retail, large chains, and locally owned fine dining! I am definitely glad to now call this city my home! The city is surprisingly now a mass transit host to Manteca Transit. When I first moved here I would've never thought we'd have a bus system. There are no middle schools; elementary school continues through the 8th grade, unlike the city's Bay Area counterparts. The City now hosts the largely acclaimed Bass Pro Shops and Big League Dreams sports complex.

Pine St
"Pine, There is no Pine"
Street houses Mission Park, perhaps Fremont's most boring park... It is basically a ditch with a batting cage, and too big of a parking lot. Its about blanketed over with electrical lines and towers. It is almost an endless road with nothing to look at except the back of housing and fencing; Oh and lest I forget to mention the never ending supply of powerlines... More of a backroad to the American Lifestyles of the middle class.
Mill Creek Rd
"Classic Scenic Passage"
I remember walking along side the road as a kid up the mountain with a few friends. It is one long road and was never fully explored! I would say we walk the equivalent of around 5 blocks then gave up...But it is a very peaceful and scenic walkway or even drive, it is full of plush trees almost like a forest coming out of nowhere! I do remember seeing a huge Manor on the horizon of the hill. Perhaps the road was private... but i suggest visiting Mill Creek it would be a sort of vacation, like viewing the countryside of Gibraltar...(kind of) Mil Creek Road is adjacent to Guadalupe Terrace

Mission View Dr
"Starting up Neighborhood"
A relatively older neighborhood that my parents owned a house on. They rented it out for around $1200 and refuse to tell me the their sell price. :( I never really enjoyed visiting this neighborhood, gave off a bad vibe. The street itself sits between two of the busiest streets in Fremont. (Paseo and Fremont) Though it lies next to the wonderful Lake Elizabeth Park! which is a major plus! Those looking for a starter home with a little bit of fixin', I definitely suggest this neighborhood! And it is false advertisement, you cannot see Mission San Jose from the street :(.

Grimmer Blvd
"Fast Food Fast Food and More Fast Food"
Has many fast food chains... McDonald's, Taco Bell, like 4 Subways, Togos, KFC, and Pizza Hut, that is not including independents... The street is only good for grabbing a bite to eat nothing more. Though there are a number of Pharmacies (Walgreens, CVS...) it is not an eye pleasing street. Yet again the city of Fremont attempts to build new townhouse apartments, along side the city's *worst streets... Suppose it is to inspire development and attract the Bay Area's "money" But it does not look good. Take a drive down Grimmer and see for yourself. An eyesore in a great City!

"Greenest street in Fremont"
Full of greenery! Fremont boast excellent streets but this one by far is full of lush grass and bountiful deciduous. Houses a number of Office spaces including a large Washington Mutual office, (now Chase) Kaiser Permanente Offices, and a lot more. There are a few restaurants including a really good Mexican restaurant, (I cant remember the name, but its the only one on Walnut) it starts with a P. And it also hosts a Men's Warehouse...

Bart Way
"Bay Area Rapid Transit"
Exactly what the name implies! The way to BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). This street is the gateway to another gateway into the Bay Area's many cities. You may experience a lot of traffic at times but hey its BART. Bart way is off of Civic, (pretty sure) and is behind Washington Hospital and Gateway Plaza. Parking may be a hassle even more now since BART started charging for parking in other cities. Take advantage of it, if your visiting Fremont from a far away place, you definitely need to take a drive down Bart Way and hop on BART! :)
Peralta Blvd
"Old time Little street."
Dead street with nothing to do. It has a number of businesses but more industrial than retail. There is a Enterprise Rent-a-Car and a Sign Maker store, I would say that's the highlight! There is a number of Churches which is why it has two stars instead of 1. It has some nice newly developed apartment Town Houses which in my opinion stick out in a relatively "old" house district. The Boulevard does cross Fremont Blvd which is a nice slice of old town Fremont. So meet the intersection of Peralta and Fremont and enjoy the old times. Includes a restored train station which is still active! Nevertheless it is a quaint side of Fremont which would be a nice little walk to kill time! :)

Paseo Padre Pkwy
"PARKS PARKS PARKS!!!"
I always got a kick out of the name(translates Father's Pass). Well the Parkway host one of the greatest parks I knew as a kid, Lake Elizabeth. A Picnickers Paradise! You can feed the ducks ride a boat or go jogging along side the park's lakeside. The entire road is riddled with city parks and nice neighborhoods. I would say an excellent neighborhoods for new families especially with children. There are retail centers but not too much. It is indeed Fremont's PARKway!

Mowry Ave
"Bustling Retail Haven!"
Great street to show the bustling Bay Area city scene. The Avenue houses the famous Washington Hospital! A great Hospital that as a child I have visited many times. The Ave is clean and home to restaurants and clean shopping centers. But it can be congested with traffic at times. The Mall is off of Mowry making it a very large retail haven right off of 880. You can also reach the BART station from Mowry onto Civic Center, which connects you with the rest of the Bay Area!

Mission Blvd
"Very Long Blvd!"
I remember driving along Mission to got to church as a kid. A very busy street connecting Fremont to Union City then Union City to Hayward. The Boulevard is riddled with residential districts, commercial, and industrial. You can find a lot of fast food restaurants and brick walls dividing the street from housing. It really is too vague to describe such an extensive road. Ohlone College is also on Mission... For an adventure I'd suggest driving down Mission, see where you end up... :)
