Malott Dr
"friendly, nice, and affordable"
Malott Dr is a nice street in the Stone Gate neighborhood. This is a pretty good area, homes are more affordable than newer developments. The people are frendly, and the street is safe, quiet, and low traffic despite being close to several major streets, including the 101. Add in the awesome Stone Gate park, even with a small zoo, and good schools, and you have a winning neighborhood.

Kendrick Cir
"great value for your dollar"
In these tough economic times, everyone is looking to stretch their income a little farther. Neighborhoods like these are a great value for your money. Homes on Kendrick Circle might be overlooked due to their modest appearance, but this street is pleasant, safe, and a great value. Schools in the area area good, there is a fantastic nearby park, and close to Hwy 101 for commuters.

Idlewood Dr
"quaint and old fashioned"
Idlewood Drive is a pretty nice street in Stone Gate, but you might feel as if you stumbled onto the set of the Brady Bunch due to the surroundings. Homes are well kept but somewhat dated ranch or split level homes straight out of 1960. That said, the neighborhood is a great value, it is safe and neighbors are friendly, again adding to the somwhat old fashioned vibe.

Shilshone Way
"quiet, low key street"
Shilsone Way is a pretty quiet, low key street in the Stone Gate neighborhood of San Jose. This street consists mainly of smaller to medium sized ranch style homes, some larger split level homes, all in the typical 50s and 60s Brady Bunch style. It is a pleasant enough neighborhood, not beautiful and upscale, but nice enough especially on a budget.

Keldon Dr
"affordable and safe"
Keldon Dr. is located in a somewhat older (built in the 50s and 60s) neighborhood of Stone Gate in San Jose. This area is pretty affordable compared to other more affluent areas of San Jose, but it is still safe and a pleasant place to live. You will sacrifice some amenities, there is not much in the way of shopping and dining nearby, but there are nice parks.

Sherlock Drive is an ok neighborhood in San Jose, nothing outstanding or upscale, but a solid middle class neighborhood of middle aged homes. This street is in a good location for commuters, conveniently located near the 101 expressway and the 680 for commutes into San Francisco and Palo Alto. Despite being near major freeways, this street is quiet and low traffic.

Woodminster Dr
"pleasant but dated neighborhood"
Woodminster drive is in an area of San Jose that is middle to lower middle class. Homes were built in the 60s and 70s and it shows, with somewhat dated looking split level and ranch style homes from that area. However, this neighborhood is safe and more affordable than more upscale areas of San Jose, and it offers many advantages such as good schools, parks, and a convenient location.

"decent middle class neighborhood"
It has been several years since I lived on Saddlewood Dr in San Jose, but at that time it was a pretty decent street in a middle class neighborhood. This neighborhood is fairly quiet, there were a few noisy neighbors but not much traffic. You are close to the 101 for commuting, and several bus stops are conveniently nearby. Stone Gate Park is also close by for walking and biking, and even has a small zoo. My kids loved Stonegate Elem, which is in this neighborhood.
