Our neighborhood is close to everything but in the middle of nowhere.

It is part of North Port, but closer to Port Charlotte.
Plenty of local shopping opportunities, but if you want lots of retail head to Sarasota or Fort Myers.
Golf courses abound. The Harbor is close. Amazing beaches just 25 minutes.
