"Family friendly street"

Rio Monte street is a small street that connects to the main street of the Lower Valley part of town. As the street feeds into Alameda street, you have access to all the major commercial areas associated with the main road. You can find your fill of restaurants and grocery stores along not too far from Rio Monte. This main street, however, contrasts greatly with Rio Monte itself as it is a very small and short street composed of a few homes that are spaced moderately far apart. It is very quiet and its sidewalks are decorated with some of the larger trees in the area. Another aspect of note is that, where as one end of the street feeds into the main street of the area, the other feeds into a very quiet park next to the local church. I am sure this setup will please many families looking for the perfect neighborhood to move into.

"Very quiet friendly street"

Sparrow street is a very quiet and small street located in the Lower Valley part of town. It is only one block long, but the small size makes the street feel like a very nice community. A couple of blocks up the road you will find Ascarate Elementary School, which is good news to any families interested in moving into the area. There is also a shopping plaza located nearby where people can purchase food, clothes, baked goods, as well as a couple of restaurants. It is the perfect street for anyone who wants to move into an understated neighborhood without too much flash.

"A Continually advancing street"

Montwood street is a nice blend of commercial and residential areas which make living there very nice and very convenient. The street runs along the eastside of town from west to east. It is broken up into alternating sections of commercial and residential areas. The commercial areas are always located near the intersections of the street while the residential homes are in between those. There is a variety of things to do on this street. You will find a discount movie theater, a mall near one end of the street, and a variety of department stores further down. There is also a cross section of schools and parks which make the area feel like a very personalized neighborhood for anyone who moves in.

"Very quiet and very friendly street"

Mimosa street is a main street which connects several much smaller streets in the the Lower Valley part of town. The streets are narrow, but as it is an exclusively residential area, it isn't much of a problem. The street connects an elementary school on one end and a middle school and high school on the other end. This makes this street ideal for anyone with children of any age. Since the schools make up a the major characteristics of this street, it is not surprising that there is a large community following for the schools and their activities in the area. It gives off a very safe and friendly experience.

"Heavy commercial Zone"

Lee Trevino is large street that stretches across the eastside of town. It is predominately commercial but there are sections of residential areas near the northern part of the street. At one point, Lee Trevino was one of the most eastern streets in the city, but as El Paso keeps expanding it has become known as a major street in the center of the eastside of town. As the street is mostly commercial, it has its fair share of traffic, particularly around rush hour. This is a problem on the street near I-10, but as the residential portions are far on the other side of the street, this is not a major problem if you are living there. Overall, the street is well taken care of and has all the major necessities.

"Fast developing area"

Zaragosa Road is growing into the eastside of towns new commercial zone. Within the past few years the areas around Zaragosa have grown exponentially. The areas next to Zaragosa are most being developed in to commercial zones which has really brought a lot of commerce (as well as traffic) to the area. It seems that every major chain has decided to build a store on the street, particularly near the northern end of the road. With the increase of stores brought more developers who also began building more residential zones in the surrounding areas. The population in the area is growing very quickly with Zaragosa road as the heart of the neighborhood.

"The Lifeline of the Westside"

N. Mesa Street is the main road of the westside of town. It spans from downtown, all across the westside and finally ends near the Texas, New Mexico border. The street is very long and is almost exclusively part of a commercial district. You can find just about every type of fast food chain along this street. It is also runs next to the University of Texas at El Paso, so you can find a variety of nightspots in the area. Overall, the street is very clean and well taken care of as it is always quite busy. This of course does mean that it is prone to heavy traffic, but it is a small price to pay for the shopping convenience.

Polo Inn Road is a nice quiet street located in the Lower Valley part of town. The area is mostly small homes so there is a great sense of community in the area. The street is connected to Alameda Street, which is the main road of the Lower Valley. This means that shopping is not too far from the area. "Offordable off campus living"

Vaquero Lane is a street entirely populated by the Mission Ridge Apartment Complex. This gives the street a very uniformed look. The surrounding area is very quiet and pleasant to look at as the streets wind around the Franklin Mountains which are located literally next door to the homes in the neighborhood. You'll find primarily college students living in the area as the University of Texas at El Paso is only about a mile and a half away. This means that you will find a large variety of nightspots in the surrounding area is tailored for the college community. All in all, it is a great place for the college bound.

"Family Friendly street"

Michelangelo Dr. is a quiet street that any family would be comfortable and happy to live in. It is located on the east side of town and is a moderately long street that extends through a major part of the neighborhood. The street is composed of entirely mid-sized homes and all tend to match each other in one way or another. There are no homes here that seem out of place or deter attention from any of the other homes. The street is nearby a very busy commercial area, so shopping is a stones throw away, although it is not so close that it would effect traffic in the area. Add to this, a nearby fire station, and your family is covered for all their essential needs.
