This is a different bit of neighborhood. It's a very busy street but traffic dies down at night time. The strip is zoned with a good mix of residential and commercial properties and they seem to co-exist peacefully. housing lining this bit of road comes in a variety of fashions and includes upscale condos and newer town homes, affordable apartments, a well kept senior trailer park, a group of manufactured homes, an older but well kept enclave of patio homes, and a few regular neighborhoods. The best feature is the dog park located on the west side of Cave Creek at Grovers and the wash which is located directly across the street on the east side of Cave Creek. The wash is quite the scene during the winter and spring months!

The highlights of the businesses on that bit of Cave Creek are Savers, which is technically on Bell, Bridgettes Last Laugh, a bar and grill with great food and great atmosphere, C & H Hay & Pet Barn, which looks like a barn and sells small animals in addition to an enormous variety of animal food, Blue Ribbon Custom Tack, mainly for horses and they always dress up the fake horse out in front. There is also Valley Kawasaki and Arizona Jet Ski directly across from each other in the 17000 block of n Cave Creek. When you hit Union Hills there is a Walgreens, an Albertson's on the east side of the road and a Circle K on the west side.

The bus runs along this section of Cave Creek and there are several stops. There is every variety of fast food known to mankind surrounding the intersection of Bell and Cave Creek and a 99cent Only store close by. Factor in the Savers store and for those on a budget there are bargains within walking distance. I see quite a few teenagers at night time and there are a few visible tags here and there but nothing extreme. This strip is best suited to single people, or couples without kids and retirees. Families are better suited to the interior neighborhoods than right out on a busy strip like this simply due to the traffic and available housing.
