"Hemet has it's good points and bad."
Once known as a retirement community, Hemet is now a mix of old and young. An up and coming city that will depend on community involvement to he "back on the map". Known for little now other than it's past. It's future has yet to be written.
Hemet's low cost of living and it being surrounded by the San Jacinto mountains, hills and valley's makes the location similar to Simi Valley (without the traffic or abundance of jobs). Hemet truly is the center of all that is great about Southern California. A short drive from everywhere and still, a bit of a sleepy little town.
If city government were not sleepy, It could be so much more. All in all, a good little city with potential. The future will tell.
