"Centrally located to Tampa's nightlife"
While the neighborhood is not very large, it does contain large homes on large lots. The streets are tree lined and the homes in many parts seem to sit up higher than the street itself, which gives a nice presence as you drive through. The location of Parkland Estates also provides easy access to South Howard Ave and even Hyde Park Village.
Pros
- Close enought to South Howard to enjoy the nightlife
- Large sized lots
Cons
- Situated between many busy streets

Davis Islands is truly one of the best kept secrets in Tampa. This waterfront community, right outside of Downtown Tampa, has everything that you could want from resturants to shops, as well as recreation opportunities (jogging/biking trail, public pool, public tennis courts, little league fields and marina). There is a mix of beautiful mansions and smaller Florida homes, and the schools are the top in the State. The neighborhood association is active with sponsoring a variety of events and activities.
