Yacht Road 1
"Name says it all."
The name says it all here. Yacht Road is in the Marina District and is slightly closer to the Ocean than Marina Blvd. It leads to the Golden Gate Yacht Club and basically dead ends there. You guessed it! It takes you to the Yachts. This is not as busy as Marina Blvd or even Marina Green. And you are basically kissing the water.
Alana Way
"Busy Busy Busy"
The James Lick Freeway is also known as the 101. This is an extremely busy freeway. It is mostly known for crossing the Golden Gate Bridge which also features pedestrian walkeway with certain hours and a gift shop. The bridge is open to cars 24 hours but not for walking or biking.
Herbst Rd
"The Name Says it all"
Zoo road is a small road that leads to...you guessed it the zoo! Its off of Skyline Blvd and Amory Road. Zoo Road really has no purpose but to get you to the San Francisco Zoo, so its not a busy street at all. It is however a quiet street surrounded by lush greenery.

"Nothing to see here"
Hill Street is a neighborhood street that takes you to many housing. It does not take you to any good shops or restaurants or anything like that. Just houses and more places to live. It is not heavy trafficed or conjested. Its an ok street to pass through on. Neither good or bad. Just average.
Great Hwy
"Another super busy street"
Separate from Upper Great Highway is Lower Great Highway. It Has the same amazing oceanic views, and unfortunately has the same super busy traffic. If you want a quick trip to get you somewhere, I do not recommend this road. I would try to find a different route if possible. However I like to think the views make up for it.
Great Hwy
"Super busy street"
Upper Great highway is highway right off the ocean. Can be very very busy however the views greatly make up for it. If you are looking for a street that gets you from point A to point B I would recommend finding a different path. But if time is your friend, go for this spectacular view.
34th Ave
"Not a Bad street"
34th street is about as average as it gets. Some times it busy, other times its not Its not in a scenic part of town, but it can get you to the Lincoln Park Golf Course, which if you know about local golf courses, its a good one to visit.
9th Ave
"Trip to the Botanical Gardens"
9th Street is the easiest way to get to Strybing Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Located in Golden Gate Park, the gardens are a breathtaking 40 acre view. Many different plants and trees obviously. More than you can ever imagine. Definately worth seeing.
Chain of Lakes Dr
"Quiet Street through the Golden Gate Park"
Chain of Lakes Drive is a short quiet street that goes through Golden Gate Park. It isn't usually busy for most of the day and provides a nice quick short cut throguh the park. Its definately quiet, surrounded by greenery. Even to walk down the road is a nice change of pace.
Concourse Dr
"Takes you through the Japanese Tea Garden"
Tea Garden Drive is one of the roads that take you through the five acres of the Japanese Tea Garden. There are many breathtaking views to be seen here, from the Japanese style pagodas to a waterfall and Koi ponds. It is not free to go through here, but it is worth shelling out some cash for it. Very peaceful and worth the trip and money.
