"Girard Estate, a nice place to live."

I lived in Girard Estate for 5 years. It is a really nice neighborhood if you stay within the neighborhood. All my neighbors were very friendly and made us feel at home no matter the situation. The parks have been recently redone so they are very nice. The schools were great, I went to a catholic school and it was very discipline but it was a good experience. There is a very good hospital that is within 10 minutes of the area. Out of all the area in Philadelphia I can tell you that this is probably one of the safer ones in the city.

"Eltingville. Typical middle class."

I live right on the cutoff of Eltingville and Great Kills. I have lived in Eltingville for about 15 years now and it hasn't really changed a lot. Lots of traffic, good public transportation and middle class families with nice cars. There is a lot of so-so restaurants in this area, there is average pizza places and chinese places. They did just open a new bus depot recently which is good. Overall it is an average area to live with the YMCA right in the middle. It is a good place to raise your kids with decent schools and good transportation.

"Nice residential Area."

As my former street growing up I can say that it is a nice area to live. Yea there can be some crazy neighbors but everyone has that. It is right near Dunbar park which is a great park to play in. Houses are decent and nicely spaced apart. Near the military academy and the Illinois Institute of technology.

"One of my favorite roads!!!"

The reason it is one of my favorite roads is because it is the road to get to the museum! The museum of natural history in Chicago is in my opinion one of the greatest museum's i have ever been to, except for new york. It is connected by S Columbus Dr. and Solidarity Dr.

"Long street near navy pier."

E Grand Ave. runs from rush street all the way down to the end of the navy piers. There is a beautiful view from the piers. It is a very busy street and there is a lot of transportation that crosses this street like the blue and red line. Overall busy street with some good shopping.

"Small dead end street."

This street is very small for a city street, It is a dead end street that is home to many buisnesses. It is located right near city hall and also the Civic center. Mostly business not a lot of residential areas around there. Also connects to Upper Wacker from the other side.

"A lot of traffic, Right near park."

South Columbus Drive splits off of South Lake Shore Drive. It is also parallel to the Illinois central train station. It also splits through grant park, one of the greatest parks I have ever been to, great for the kids. This road brings back good memories going to Soldier Field to see the Bears play.

"Very Crowed. But very fun!"

This street is right near two of the best public parks in Chicago. It can sometimes get crowded from all the workers and the traffic can be bad sometimes, but the parks alone are worth the trip. My parents used to bring me there when I was a kid and it just brings back great memories.

"If you don't work there, Don't go there."

As simple as that, try not to find yourself wandering around this area. Granted the street is 80% storage containers, it is very run down and almost abandon like. I believe it turns into W26th St., which ironically is a beautiful site to see with tress and park area. Overall not the best street in Chicago.

"Not a place to hang out."

This is one of these streets that I would not hang out on. Don't get me wrong the people that LIVE in the area can be nice but the park right near here is not so nice. I think the only thing I can say about this street is that in the daytime the parks are nice to bring the kids.

"Small street, Nice place to live."

I had a good childhood friend live on this street a long time ago. It's a nice area, small street. It is close to pretty much all the essentials you need and it is even close to the sears tower. Close to all major highways, but traffic can get pretty bad at times. Overall a nice street to live on.

"Diversey (Traffic) Parkway"

Diversey Parkway is a major street on the North Side of Chicago. I recently found out that the street is named after a nineteenth-century beer brewer named Michael Diversey. There is always a lot of traffic on this road, but the view is nice as it is right near the river.

"Great transportation to NYC!"

Located in the town of Eltingville, Memphis Ave. is a good place to have a family. It has decent houses with good size backyards. It is also located right near the Bus depot. There is a elementary school nearby and also a YMCA . All in all not a bad area to live but not astounding.

"Long street with good neighbors."

This is a family oriented street mainly due to the closeness of the houses and the small width of the street. The street is 3 blocks long and curves around. A lot of the houses have driveways and pretty nice size backyards. Close to NYC buses and other transportation.Overall nice neighborhood.

"Quiet Area with school."

This is a very unique street in Staten Island. This is the only known street to me that does not have any houses on it. What it does have is Tottenville High School, my former high school. that bieng said it is very quiet. A few blocks down there is a big shopping plaza and plenty to eat.

"Great school area."

Great area. Parallel to Richmond Ave. which is a busy street. Mostly single family detached houses. Right near great elementary school. A lot of stop signs and there could be a little traffic at times but the parking is great and the streets are wide. Right near all transportation including buses to NYC.

"Narrow Streets with a lot of traffic"

Stack Drive is right in the middle of the Avon Green Development. It is very narrow with way too much traffic and double parked cars. The neighbors are very close and friendly and there is a community pool nearby. There is also a park not far from there. All semi-attached houses.

"Very wide streets."

I had one of my best friends live on this street. It was very wide which is unusual for Staten Island. Not that many houses on the block. It was off of Arthur kill Rd. which is a main road. All semi-attached houses with small yards. Overall pretty nice area.

"Bad parking, Good neighbors."

Probably the worst parking on the island. The only good thing I can say about this street is that there is a nice park for the kids to play in. The neighbors are also very homely. For the golfer there is a course right across the street. All the houses are also semi-attached.

"Great quiet street."

Winchester Ave. extends for 4 blocks. Below Hylan Blvd. it is very quiet and it is right off the water which makes it nice, but it can sometimes give off the beach smell in the summer. Not a lot of kids and the location makes it very convenient for city commuters.

"Very crowded area."

Ebey lane is a part of Avon Green. It is very crowded with tons of double parked cars due to NO parking. There is a lot of kids that hang out at night and it can get quite loud. The only good thing I can say is that the neighbors are okay and everyone seems very close-knit.

"Good Neighbors, Quiet Neighborhood"

I lived in a side apartment on Hett Ave. It's a dead end street with a good deli a few blocks down. It is pretty quiet at night. There are a lot of kids there but I didn't mind them. Near a good high school and one of the best pizza places on Staten Island.
