Monument Cir
"The Mounument Circle"
I read somewhere that the original design of the street was to be the home of the Indiana Governor – glad that plan fell through! This circle represents Indianapolis, it is the center of our great celebration, and it honors those who gave all they had for our liberty! It is a great place to enjoy lunch or to ride the carriage at night.

East 116th St
"Main Street, Fishers, Indiana"
I am sure what it like to live on the busy four-lane road but it is the main drag to anywhere in Fishers. While attending Ball State, we would get off at 116th street from I-69 and drive east. Then, it was a two-lane road with not much on it between the Nickel Plate an Allisonville. Now, there are thousands that live along and travel this road each day. As negative as this might sound, it is one of the best looking, busy roads in Hamilton County (that includes anything Carmel could design!).

"My First Apartment"
I am first out of college and have started my first job. To reward myself, I found one of the nicest dumps in Fort Wayne! Several mice shared the first night in the upstairs apartment. The next morning, I met my downstairs neighbor – a Jamaican prostitute. Once I came home to find a business card from a police officer. He was looking for the former tenant. Well, we all have to start somewhere.

"Peace in the Midst of Growth"
We only lived here for a little lesson than two years in the late eighties but loved EVERY MINUTE of it! With all the growth around us, the fact it never got completely dark, and the roar or North Avenue, there was peace in the woods behind us. There was once a fox run across the yard, rabbits almost constantly, and the growth of the woods masked our location.

Ellipse Pkwy
"The Ring of Holland Park"
Thank God for the planners of Sunblest! Holland Park is a crown jewel of Fishers and Ellipse Parkway holds it in place. From the apartments on the southeast to the upper scale homes to the north, this center of Sunblest is a cross reference of the entire park.

"Our first rental"
620 Russell Avenue was our first home as a married couple. It was an odd, and yet great part of Fort Wayne at the same time. The houses must have been built before WWII with small rooms and huge yards. For a person over 6 feet, I quickly learned to duck while entering the basement. But for location, it could not be beat. We were within a long walk of the county zoo but will within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. It has been 20 years and we have fond memories of Russell Avenue.

"Three mile north of Muncie's WalMart"
Between 300W and 400W was home from March, 1969 until May, 1987, and again from January, 1991 until May, 1999. Aside from a soy field now being home to several house, very little has changed along this mile-long stretch. For a young boy, it was awful to grow up there because we seemed so far from everything. As a parent raising children there IT WAS GREAT!!!

"Ashton Place is still a great place to live"
We have lived on this little patch of heaven since June, 1999. MANY have come and gone but the Place is still a great place to live. We are well within walking distance of Holland Park, shopping at the Marsh, Kroger, and Target plazas, and the municipal center (and the to-be-built town center). A great Place in the 10th best place to live.
