"There is alot that you are able to appreciate in this area"
I've had mixed reviews about Denver. Colorado Springs is a pretty laid back area compared to Denver. You get the luxury of city and rural area with Denver. I think that my thoughts, ideas, and feelings about Denver were summed up when I took my final drive back to the airport down this street. This quiet nieghborhood reminded me of exactly why I felt that warm home feeling about Denver just like when I first came here. I had a few bad experiences after being here for a few days and driving a rental car but everything went back to light when I took that ride back. Great houses, quiet streets and very nice people. Take the time and have a visit.

"Wonderful place to stay, great for singles"
I came here thinking that I would be able to find parking because I wanted to go to the local jewelry shop and get myself a nice cup of coffee. I got alot more than that when someone slammed into my car door while I was gone and didn't leave a note or apologized. I parked near a tree so I already knew that a bird was going to have an accident on it. But to aggrivate me to the absolute end of the discussion was the fact that someone actually took the time to put a ticket on my car and I was less than 3 minutes late.

"Homes that you will love and everything is wonderful in this area"
I will never come to this area again! It's filthy the way that it was kept when I drove through there. There were so much trash and the cars were parked in such a way that you barely scaved by someone when you rode past them and I was in a taxi ! There was this fear that we may hit someone or drive too close to them. I believe I saw someone drive about 35 mph down this road and it's a rural area. I'm not trying to be a police officer for anyone else. But wow! You have to be considerate of other people on the road and others that occupy the area as well.

"Quiet area with alot of appeal!"
There is something about the food in this city that brings me back with the biggest smile on my face imaginable. I never thought that you could find such great pizza in this area but you can. I went out with a couple of friends who were residents of the area for more than 5 years so that they could show me around. I was scheduled to be there for only about 3 days but it was wonderful. You wouldn't think that Denver would have that much to offer. Everyone is so caught up in New York or Las Vegas. Those are some great places but if you take the chance to ride down this street I'm sure you'll put it on your top 5 list of places that you would either want to relocate to or just plain come back and visit with friends.

"Nice for an afternoon drive but I hate the traffic"
loved this area during the day but wouldn't come back here at night. I was amazed at the amount of people that croweded this area! I am a flight attendant and when I landed and rode through this area during the day to get to my hotel I saw only a few residents occupy thier porches and a few kids out walking around on the sidewalks. When I decided later, after checking into my hotel, to go back out and go shopping I was amazed at how many people actually walked through this area. The set up of Denver is like no other to me. There is a combination of buisnesses and homes and this combination over laps itself. Do take a chance to walk through this area but be aware that you may run into alot more people after 6 pm.

"Take a moment and enjoy the sky scrapers but enjoy the homes as well"
When I landed to this destination as a part of my occupation I never thought I'd be so amazed to see the skyscapers that I saw. I am a flight attendant and I loved the fact that once you stepped out of that airport, jumped into a taxi and whisked down the street that there was more for you to fall in love with than just the tall buildings and the very courteous residents. There is this undeniable hustle and bustle because of the proximity to downtown but you have this feeling that everyone would slow down just enough to greet you personally. When our taxi drive pulled up at a stop light I admired the shops that lined the streets. There are alot of bohemian type shops that offer personalized and original pieces. I also loved the turqouise jewelry that was lain out in the window shop windows. I think that the moment I got to my hotel I ended up jumping back into another taxi and I went shopping immediately.

"Take a trip to the park but think of moving here also"
I landed here on a cool Friday night after about 4 pm in the afternoon. I am a flight attendant so when I get in I'm very much in a rush to get where I'm going and that's it! I was fortunate to ride in this area on my way to the hotel and I was....let's just say I'm considering the relocation to this area. There is something about when you see about 4 kids riding thier bikes in the street when it's freezing cold outside, about 8 houses with concerned parents and community members on the porch. I loved the view of that. I have a 2 year old son who is with my mother when I have to leave and it just makes me realize that if I were to move in this area that everyone would be watching out for my son with my best interest in mind. You can't beat that feeling, especially if you are a single mother trying to do everything by yourself. I'm goig to give this place beyond 3 thumbs up, I'm going to give it a high 5 and a smile. Amazing is all I can say.

"Business and homes but I loved the homes the most"
I am a flight attendant by profession. I travel whenever my beeper goes off and I find that hte destinations are not always as wimsical as everyone make think they may be. Case in point this area. I rode in the back of a taxi down this road. Staring out the window, trying to think of a nice way to tell the driver that he may be going the wrong way to get to the hotel I found that the architecture in this area was actually quite nice. The butterscotch shading of the street lamps brought this Christmas glow to the older homes and there were quite a few people out on thier porches. It was very easy to see why the residents chose this area. It seemed to have the feeling of home that you couldn't resist feeling run up your bones and kiss your cheeks. My complaint for taking so long for getting to the hotel didn't seem to matter anymore. I was enjoying the warmth and reminder of home. If you are searching for a home for your family please don't hesitate to take a look in this area.

"Street name not like the reall place but still loved it"
So this is pretty much just an area filled with homes and nothing else. I got lost driving down this road after a very festive night out with my cousin and a few friends of hers. I was in town only for about 4 days and thought that maybe, just mabye we could go out and I woudn't have so much to drink that I would feel the weight of my head feel like a thousand pounds but that didn't happen. Alot of you maybe thinking or asking how I remeber the street name if I was smashed? I fell on the sidewalk near the street sign and stared at it for about half an hour after that laughing at the name. After my little fall, while the crazy people who drove me sat in the car not being able to move, a very nice young man walking down from his porch saw me and helped me up. I would say to visit this area because if that guy didn't help me up, I probably would have woke up there.

"Took a ride through an area that felt like home"
I was recently visiting my grandmother when I had the chance to drive through this area. My grandmother lives in Colorado Springs on an Indian reservation. I thought that the beautiful landscaping with the cliffs and the trees didn't go on for much longer but when I got to Denver I was shocked by how beautiful it looked. I love the tall business buildings and the people are absolutely wonderful. As I was walking down the street past a pizzeria I droped my wallet, I didn't realize it until someone picked it up for me and handed it to me. I love that. I can't stress enough how much I adore this area.

"Home for anyone who is smart enough to know that this is the place"
I looked around alot of places and found that this general area offers better prices per square foot for the homes than most places. I think that if you are in the market to purchase a home it would be here. I was looking for real estate for a friend of mine and she chose to purchase a home on this street. There are very nice neighbors and very proactive community members. I even had the pleasure of being there during holloween and it was amazing. They make sure that everyone and everything is accounted for for the saftey of the children. I have to appreciate that. I very much admire that in the community. I hope that anyone who is looking to move into a very nice place for a better bang for your buck then this is the area that will appease all the notions and character that you are searching for. Trust me it is very hard to find that sense of warmth in a community here and Las Vegas isn't really sin city as they say. I love it because there are very great people with different character.

"The Main Road to pretty much everywhere if you know where your going"
If you have a chance to drive down Veterans Memorial Drive you will find that you can get to pretty much anywhere from this road. You must realize that you have to go down a few winding roads to get to where your going. I drove down Veterans when I was looking at the local real estate in the area. I thought that it would take me to a few more places that I could take a look at for purchasing property. I was very impressed at the homes that were available further down the road. I loved the fact that you are able to even go into certain areas where you are able to have your homes built by a contractor. You must take a look down this road. Also if you are looking for a hoe for families please take a look at Biltmor Drive and Palm Lane. There is something very wonderful about that street and about that area.

"Pretty Homes, Not so pretty price tag that is offered here"
I took a look in this area looking for a home for my friend. I must admitt that I am not impressed by the price tag or everything else that is envolved with this area! The real estate agent that shown me this area was very rude but to top it all off when I tried to speak to a couple of the local residents they were a little rude to me as well. Maybe it's because I have a bit of a southern draul or I don't know. All I know is that there was not compromise when it came to me speaking to anyone in this area. I dont' think that anyone would want to stay some place. I think that you should take a look at the areas such as North 10th. I really think that you should go and take a look at the homes in those areas. Please make sure that you look at the prices and the of the homes in that area.

"This whole little area is just not imporessing me"
I mentioned in my reviews about the areas surrounding Tiffanly Lane now I have to give my view of this one. I wasn't impressed at all by any of the homes that were offered in this area as well. There were not alot of selection when you take a look in this area. There were a few new construction homes that you could tell were built within the past 4 years but the rest were older homes that were not taken care the way they were suppose to be. I was not impressed also by the real estate agent that did the showings of the homes. They were not giving me the options and opportunites to be able to haggle or debate the pricing. This area was highly over priced and under impressing. Please do not waste your time and go and take a look at this area. It's not worth it and when you do find a home in this area it's not a great community.

"Not very much as far as homes if offered but you would deffinetely want to take a look"
I could not believe the real estate market in this area! I was looking for a friend's new home when I stumbled on on Verdy Lane and I didn't have much of a selection in homes. The real estate agent informed me tha the homes in this area come highly recommended but the fact of the matter is that you can't really say that when there is only about a half a dozen homes to really take a look at. The price range was way beyond what my friend wanted to spend. As a middle class working mother I inspect to be offered something that will be able to touch or draw back from my budget but it was rediculous. There are alot of nice areas in Las Vegas that I was able to take a look at but this one pretty much fit the bill for me when I thought about how much your money wouldn't go very far if you decided to move to this area. There is no relief in price if you try to bargain. Not worth it

"I was very much not impressed and you wont be either"
I took the time to check out the real estate market for a friend who was looking to relocate from North Carolina to Vegas. I admitt that North 9th through 11th are great streets to stay on but E. Wilson Avenue may pose an issue to anyone with kids. The traffic is a little crazy in the morning when you first get up around 7-10 am but that's expected for any area. There aren't that many homees off this street and you are not able to really put your stake into schools or very many businesses. I am a woman who likes community, family and closeness. I want the nieghbor to tell on my child if they even see him doing something that he knows he has no business doing and this doesn't seem like the place that you would have that available to you. There is too much hustle and bustle and not enough slowing down for me. Great area for single couples not for families.

"If anyone out there loves me they will buy me a house in this area!"
A friend was looking to purchase a home in Las Vegas. I did the research for her during a recent visit and I absolutely fell in love with the homes that are off of North 10th and North 11th Streets ! They are not only sensible as far as the pricing is concerned but they offer a great level of security among neighbors. If you are searching to move and you have a small family , growing family or you want to have kids then please move in this area! In particular if you have a chance take a look at the houses near N. Maryland Parkway and North 11th. The housing is spectacular and you will be sold as soon as you take a walk through through one of the units. I had to do the walk through for my friend an I almost pulled out my checkbook and wanted to change my address.

"Very nice area to search for a home for a family looking to relocate"
Upon my visit to Las Vegas and amid my confusion after taking the wrong turn off of the interstate and ending up on North 9th Street. I took a nice drive back through this area before I left to try to familiarize myself so that the incident would not happen again. While taking this wonderful little adventure I stumbled onto North 10th street by way of Linden Avenue. I love the homes in this area. It is a great aarea for young families looking to relocate or searching for thier first property to rent out. The twoo story homes in this area are a great bargain ( I checked because I was doing some research for a friend who then decided to move to the area). There is an abundance of friendly neighbors, the traffic isn't all that bad and I even saw a few kids riding thier bikes down the road. I highly suggest this area if you have children or want to have a growing family. During the market crunch now, now is the best time to buy.

"Got lost when I turned off the interstate adn went down this road"
Okay so, I'm not the best person with directions or being able to get myself from point A to point B sometimes. I had never been to Vegas when I turned down N 9th Street when I got here but I took the wrong exit and ended up driving down North 9th Street with this " I'm lost and I'm a tourist " look on my face. I never felt so odd in my life. This area has a lot of houses which makes you the more confused because there are no real business to stop and ask for directions. I found that local residents are pretty nice and accomodating. I say that after asking to different people how to get back to the interstate and they gave me opposite directions after I finally put the two and two together. This is a nice area if you are a young couple but I suggest N. 10th Street if your a family looking to relocate to Las Vegas.

"It wasn't what I inspected for Las Vegas but every city has it's " normal" area"
I was recently on a trip to visit a few friends of mine when I had a chance to drive around and try to find some great shops. I turned off of N. Maryland Parkway because the GPS in the car that I rented obviously didn't update itself or was just plain a piece of crap. I thought that maybe I would have run into to some Boheimian area but this was just old buildings, cleared lots, and houses. I thought that Vegas had the glitz and glamour everywhere but then I pulled myself back down to earth and realized that this is just a city as all others are. I never thought I'd say this but if you want to see the lights, Stay by the strip. The rest of vegas is pretty mundane to say the least. It's a great place to try to build that dream home but wow it's hot here during the summer and there are quiet a few seedy areas.
