"One of the few remaining parts of Plano that has peace and quiet!!!"
Los Rios Boulevard is in East Plano. The neighborhood is populated with $500k to $750k homes mostly housed with families with kids and some affluent couples who prefer to stay in the quieter side of Plano closer to Central Expressway (Hwy-75), which is about 8 minutes away from Los Rios.
The neighborhood consists of a well-rated high school, Plano East HS (Highest Rating), Armstrong Middle School (Above Average Rating) and Hickey Elementary (High Rating). There are around 4 churches in a 1 mile vicinity of this neighborhood. This maybe more catered towards a private pre-school & middle school audience than for a conservative religious setting. Bob Woodruff park provides a very quiet and neighborhood park just half a mile away.
As far as neighborly spirit goes, East Plano hosts the nationally renowned balloon festival that gathers around 500 to 700 people in the area. This has fostered a lot of group activities and many members have taken initiatives to do group activities with each other.
As the title suggests, its one of very few remaining parts of Plano that has some peace and quiet. Albeit, there are two 20 minute segments of the day at 8am and 4:30pm when the East Plano Senior High School kids are racing their German mobiles to the local HS nearby . . . . :)
