"BART, MUNI, and downtown...what more can you ask for??"
Powell is and extremely accessible street. From Powell station you take MUNI or BART anywhere, o shopping in the heart of downtown, go to the Metreon to watch a movie, go to Yerba Buena to go ice skating or bowling, go to Chinatown, or take a nice walk in Union Square. The street is incredibly lively, it passes right through downtown has great food, hotels and sights. The traffic can get pretty bad during peak hours in the afternoon, so public transportation is usually a better option. If you want to see the sights don't pass up the chance to hop on the Cable Car at the Powell stop. If you're looking for a place to hang out I would say its best for teenagers, young adults and adults.

"The Best of Both Worlds"
San Francisco- diverse, gorgeous, easy to love, and unique in every way. I have always felt at home in San Francisco because I believe it contains the best aspects of a city while still retaining a close sense of community not generally associated with a city. It is a bustling city, yet the quaint blocks evoke a neighborly and welcoming ambiance. There are big town people with friendly and progressive attitudes. San Francisco embraces different cultures within while maintaining a sense of connectedness. Once you visit you too may leave your heart in San Francisco

"Gateway to Downtown"
Geary Street reaches the Avenues and heads into downtown. Along its long path you can find amazing restaurants and shopping, but perhaps the best places along Geary are downtown and Japantown. If you hop the 38 you can get to the heart of downtown, Union Square. It passes right by Niketown, the St. Francis hotel, Neiman Marcus, and the downtown Macy's with the Cheesecake factory on the top floor. It is a critical street if commuting from the avenues and has many a time saved me from long freeway drives; you don't even need to drive, just take the bus and a sense of adventure with you.

Columbus Ave
"Amazing food and the warmth of North Beach"
If you're looking for some good Italian food, head to North Beach. Macaroni's, the Stinking Rose and North Beach Pizza are just a few examples of amazing dining opportunities. North Beach has its own unique aura. It feature a small town hospitality within the nightlife of bustling city. Never pass up an opportunity to visit with friends and sit in the park, enjoying some Gelato on a summer's night. The lights at night are captivating and you can always find something to do. When it comes to urban fashion, check out The Darkside Initiative, you can definitely find some good clothes there at good prices. From here you can walk to Downtown, Chinatown, or just explore the sights. Don't miss out.
Fillmore St
"Entertaining, always new things to explore!"
Filmore stretches from right outside the Castro district and continues down into the Marina. It is a pathway from which you can explore much of San Francisco great areas. From its very start it crosses right through Haight and continues past Japantown; from Sutter street to Jackson there are great resturants and delis, such as Mayflower, Gino's, and Dino's pizza. There's always great shopping, from high-end Marc Jacobs to urban clothing. Its a great walking street and theres also the 22 Filmore drives along the whole street so you can walk or hop on. Its a comfortably busy street which never fails to amuse and surprise its' walkers.

"Lively, fun, right in the Latino Heart of SF"
Mission street is a central hub for Latino art and culture as well as nightlife, great food, and well priced groceries. Having grown up on this street my whole life, I have a first-hand experience of the greatest things it has to offer. While it may seem more adult-friendly, the Mission district is home to the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts, a community-based art and music center for people of all ages to explore. The streets are alive and full of color from murals to street performances to vendors from all different parts of Central and South America. You can definitely find what i consider the best Mexican restaurant in all of San Francisco, La Corneta. It is extremely accessible, and downtown is just a bus ride away. Affordable and Lively, it is easily one of the most memorable streets of San Francisco.
