Memorial Drive is a long parkway that stretches from downtown area (near Franklin and Fannin Streets) all of the way to the Country Club; if you need to get somewhere in Houston, chances are you will be driving on Memorial Drive! Memorial Drive is surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery and is pretty easy to navigate, if you ignore the occasional confusingly marked exits. Most neighborhoods surrounding Memorial Drive are also in the upper-class echelon, so that also makes for nice views!

Columbia street is one of the streets that has been 'in the making' for a while now. Over the past 6 years or so it has slowly blossomed into a friendly neighborhood with the type of 'townhouses' that you see on the cover of real estate magazines; I loved visiting there for a couple of weeks!
