"A good neighborhood for families and young couples alike"
With access to a nice park, growing up on this street was good compared to other neighborhoods of my friends in Queens. I always felt safe, and the street is really close to good shopping on Jamaica Avenue. Very good public transportation but the choices for school are poor. The street is sandwiched between 2 poor performing schools. A few private schools near by give a family more options. I remember the neighbors being very friendly, and I played with their kids and got to know some of them really well. Relatively residential, it has a good mix of buildings and residential housing. Renting prices are about average for Queens, nothing pricey.
