"Diamond in the Rough"
Olney St. sits between two worlds, right in the center of the "tracks". On one side, as you travel further up the hill, you will experience the multimillion dollar homes of the fabled "East Side" of Providence. However, step over onto the wrong side of the tracks and you'll experience the more unfavorable side of urban life. The area is generally safe, however we always had a security system activated. We also heard gunshots from time to time, and I had my car broken into while living there. The upside to this location is its proximity to Whole Foods, Downtown, and more importantly, Thayer St. and Brown University/RISD.

"Quiet Neighborhood Behind the Elks Club"
Elkway is a quiet neighborhood, as long as there aren't soccer games going on in the fields at the Elks Club. It has easy access to downtown Norwood, and the hustle and bustle of the Rt 1 Automile. Also close by is shopping, services, and a large hospital.
