Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney is a great place to call home. I have young children and I find that there are plenty of family orriented activities nearby for all ages. The neighborhood is quiet yet social. There are always families outdoors throughout the year enjoying the Texas weather. Further there is great sense of community in McKinney, much more than you'd expect from a City of its size. There is excellent shopping and dining both in McKinney and in surrounding Frisco, Plano, and Allen. Stonebridge Ranch has a wide array of neighborhoods with housing prices ranging from the mid 100s to 1,000,000 and beyond. The HOA tends to be fairly rigid with appearance standards, ie. no obscure colored painting, upkeep requirements, and well landscaped common areas. Within the development there are several amenities including the aquatic center pool and the beach club, tennis courts, a pond with paddle boat rentals,... There are several churches within the footprint of the development.
