On our roaming spree we went to Snelling Avenue, a small and narrow street running parallel to Minnehaha Avenue . It is the main commercial area of the city.And like any other commercial hub is congested and crowded . One building may be hosting 3- 4 or more businesses or workshop. After the initial hesitation, we were ready for exploration. But we soon realized that we would require a life time to be able to discover the real Snelling Avenue. I picked up a few wooden bowls on the way.hungry and we This street has very few houses and a few educational institutions , but no eating joint.

Bohland avenue is the best street in Minnesota.I found it a laid back place. A suburb with in saint paul. You will get every thing here that you require in your day to day life. Lots of eating joints, market areas, educational institutes , medical facilities. People here are content with themselves and life, thus making it a safe heaven for retired people as well as women. Another plus point of this place is its connectivity both by air and road. Best place to unwind and relax after a days hard work.

This street is a true example of systematic traffic movement . with traffic from Hennepin and central avenue moving on to 3rd avenue bridge would have been enough to create chaous. But for double turn lanes and strict traffic rules and rightly timed signal lines on intersections are a great help to daily commuters.

Glenwood avenue is near Olson memorial highway and s3rd street. It is a nice place to drive around.Place is dotted with various parks around it , valley park is one such park. Parks are hub of activity.Many small streets are linked with Glenwood Avenue. Another important must see place here is Lions club park. All in all all the parks and small streets leading to different destination makes Glenwood Avenue a strange blend of peace and flurried activity.You can have your pick.

Victory memorial parkway or drive is worth a millions to drive on. It gives an unlimited joy to see the trees standing majestically. On seeing the statue of Abraham Lincoln among flowering trees i thought to myself.. who is looking more majestic?This park way was built in the memory of Hennepin army men. I think there can't be a better tribute to history .

As the name suggest , on this street stands the university of Minnesota. i have never seen so much traffic any where else. i was told that over 70,000 cars cross this street every day. seeing the traffic i readily believed the information.A short distance away is a water tower called witch's hat .it is in prospect park.KSTP_AM_FM_TV studiois another famous land mark on university avenue.

Eat street name was enough to attract me, as i am fond of good food. I was impressed by seeing so many hotels and restaurants . I really wished that i had more money and time on my hand.My friend recommended Chino Latino, keeping in mind my taste for spicy food. Food was good ,.esp. TOTOPOS. we had coconut shrimp curry with rice .

Nicollet avenue is a street that passes through almost the whole of city, like a circular road .This has famous eat street on one side and Nicollet mall on the other side . Nicollet avenue /street was named after a french explorer Joseph Nicolletn and it was built as an army road.

yes this was my first impression , when i crossed this street for the first time . I am talking of the east lake street.Here you will find people of middle strata of life . Auto business seems to be in full swing here.And i enjoyed the maxican food here. But i felt uncomfortable roaming in this street and wanted to
reach the other end of the street fast.

Hennepin was the first avenue or street that i went visiting with my friend.It crosses the river Missisipi. This place is full of life. There are so many official buildings and educational institutes Presence of students make this street very lively. You will find every thing here from a book store to a music shop to a posh restaurant to a road side cafe. We sat in one such cafe near technical college and watched the hustle - bustle of world around us. This street lifts your spirits.
