"Charming Neighborhood"

In between Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet Linden Hills is home to a few of our all time favorite restaurants and local shops. The streets are tree lined and the houses are amazing. You will want to get out of your car and just stroll along the streets in this neighborhood. You can walk to either lake for more of everything the lakes have to offer or stick close to the business district, this is where our favorite restaurants and shops reside. There is a strong sense of community here, you will feel it and see it in action at the local establishments. You really do feel like it's a place where everybody knows your name.
Pros
  • clean and close to nature
  • Natural beauty
  • Next to two lakes
  • Local businesses
Cons
  • home prices are on high end
  • Far from highways
  • hard to find parking on some streets in the summer

"Lovely Neighborhood"

Fulton is another fabulous neighborhood in Southwest Minneapolis. It's close to Linden Hills, Lynnhurst and Armatage as well as Edina, home to Southdale Center and the shops and restaurants at 50th and France. The streets are lined with trees and the homes are beautiful and well maintained. There are a lot of new construction homes in this neighborhood in addition to a variety of more traditional architectural styles including craftsman and bungalow. It's close to downtown Minneapolis and Lake Harriet.

The average home price in Fulton is $344K. This is based on information from the Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota Inc for the period of 09/01/2012/09/01/2013.

"A great place to live and play!"

Edina is a first ring suburb making it an accessible and convenient place to live. It has a long standing great reputation for fabulous schools, parks and shopping. Edina has several shopping area's but a few highlights include Southdale Center, which has been in the process of getting a much needed renovation and the Shops at 50th and France. Edina like Minneapolis boasts strong neighborhoods and communities. The streets are lined with beautiful trees and the yards and houses are well maintained. Edina is home to several neighborhood parks as well as a few larger parks that attract people from all over the Twin Cities including Centennial Lakes and Edinborough Park. Edinborough is completely enclosed and a great spot to burn off some energy during the winter months. We are also huge fans of the aquatic center, we've had memberships to the pool for as long as we've had kids.

"Our First Home"

We used to live in the Keewaydin neighborhood and we really enjoyed it there. The home was our first home and we were just blocks from the lake. The motivation to get out and exercise or simply enjoy the beauty of the lake struck you every time you drove by it. At the time we had a big golden retriever who absolutely loved our location, we walked him around Lake Nokomis every day. The lake is a little over 2.5 miles, and in my opinion the perfect walking distance. The neighbors on our block were very helpful and everyone was friendly. This location offers easy access to Hwy 62 and Hwy 77, making our commute or errand runs a breeze. We also enjoyed Fat Lorenzo's, Carbones Pizza and the Popcorn Shop... and we still do!
Pros
  • peaceful - great family atmosphere
  • Next to the lake

"North Loop"

I love this area, it's a great area to work, shop and play. Commonly referred to as the Warehouse District, this neighborhood has a trendy, industrial feel. Most of the buildings have been converted into condo's and apartments with shopping, businesses and restaurants below. The North Loop is home to Target Field, a great place to see a ball game. It's also home to some fabulous restaurants that embrace the look and feel of the North Loop, Bar La Grassa is my personal fav. You won't have any problem finding a unique, trendy place to grab a bite or enjoy a cocktail in this neighborhood, no matter what your palette.

"Beautiful neighborhood, properly named!"

This beautiful neighborhood is properly named, you can get tangled up in the streets because they don't conform to the regular Minneapolis street grid but it's worth it. The streets are tree lined, the houses are pretty and the yards are well maintained. Tangletown Gardens and Wise Acre Eatery are my favorite Tangletown destinations, if you love to garden you can beat the selection at Tangletown Gardens, and the landscaping at Wise Acre Eatery, done by Tangletown Gardens makes it the prettiest dining destination in Minneapolis. Residents in this neighborhood enjoy great schools and beautiful parks in addition to several other great shops and restaurants. If you enjoy walking, running, biking or hiking you will enjoy the Minnehaha Creek, it runs through the southern part of this neighborhood and connects the neighborhood to the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway and the Lakes.

The average home price in Tangletown is 352K. This is based on information from the Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota Inc for the period of 09/01/2012 to 09/01/2013.
