"Beautiful scenery but a little far out of town"

This is a beautiful street to live on if you are looking for a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city for the quiet of the foothills. Not yet as developed as other areas of Tucson. Desert vistas and rolling foothills are still visable on this side of town. However, do not attempt to live here without your own vehicle. Public transportation is a good walk and not available at all times. Moonsoon rains often flood this street which makes it difficult for getting too and from work in July and August. Sabino Canyon is a short distance away and reachable by bicycle for a nice weekend outing. Quiet neighborhoods off of this street. Very close to large local resorts.

"Not the best area but good value for the money"

If you are looking for cheap apartment living in a decent neighborhood you have found the right street. This street has affordable houses and cheap apartment complexes that are off of the main street like those on 22nd or Broadway which provides more privacy. However, the close proximety to the Pantano wash makes the street a little more unsafe than other streets. There are many homeless that live in the wash and therefore a lot of property crimes in this community. Locking your car on this street is not enough and be very sure you took any valuables out of it. Many people like having the wash nearby for fitness or recreation but I would not walk around this community without a large dog and definitely not at night.

"Close park, quiet neighborhood, lots of traffic"

This is a nice street to live on with older children. There is a neighboorhood park in the middle of the street between Camino de la Tierra and Shannon. Large basketball court, walking path, playground and BBQ areas. There are sometimes large groups of teens playing basketball in the evening. Not a great street if you have young children who like to play in the front yard because there is a lot of drive through traffic because of the location between Camino de la Tierra and Shannon. The low speed limit on this street does not discourage the drive through traffic and can be dangerous at times. Of course, this is Tucson, who is out in the summer anyway? Good proximetry to local shopping and large box stores. No neighborhood association though so some houses can look unclean at times.

"Community Pool, Park, Playground and School all on one street"

This is a wonderful street to live on in a mixed, comfortable community. Ridgeland Park subdivision has a variety of personalities. There are many families with young children, working singles, and retirees who are the original residents when the community was formed. They all come together every weekend in the nice weather to enjoy the community pool located on the corner of Emily Drive and Emily Circle. There is also a newly renovated community playground located next to the pool. A few short steps down the block is a stairway leading up to Secrest Middle School. This block is located a short distance from a beautiful shopping area on Old Spanish Trail and Harrison. A great place to live that is not as far out as Rita Ranch.
