Front Street in Owego, New York is a street that looks like it is from the turn of the century. The street is lined with old mansions on both sides of the street, as you drive into town. Some of these homes were passageways for slaves in the 1800's as they escaped to freedom on the underground railroad. As the street winds into the main part of town, following along the Susquehanna River, you stumble upon old time stores and modern franchises coexisting in a friendly hometown.
